Last Thursday Class 2 had an exciting morning of dance. They were lucky enough to have the opportunity to receive expert coaching from Jemma all morning. The class began with Bollywood dancing, and everyone there was extremely impressed by their enthusiasm, perseverance and skills. The whole class got really involved with the activity, leading to some excellent results and perhaps some budding Bollywood dancers!
The Line Dancing was a great success too, with the children loving dancing to Cotton-Eyed Joe. The Samba dancing got the children really moving and the Cheerleading led to some great examples of team-work.
It was a really successful and enjoyable morning. The children were able to reflect on and write about their experiences the next day, practising their use of adverbs.
